CLASSICS ILLUSTRATED twin circle editions

Here is a great way of further identifying your classics.
this chart is from the long out of print "Classics Handbook" from 1978 by Charles Heffelfinger

from 1968 through 1976, Twin Circle Catholic Newspaper had a full color supplement of most of the CI titles... the first 6 were actual comic books, with glossy covers., full CI reprints with the price side of the little open yellow book next to the title number blank, unique to these editions.... then they went to a serialized oversized coverless comic book format... then they went to a standard folded newspaper format.
